Rejected balls joints outside of missouri highway patrol policy. Had to take vehicles to highway patrol whom found NO wear. Then Big O manager was forced to issue me a sticker. Service manager would not accept responsibility. My nephew paid for a state inspection and got a maintenance/safety ejection I think.
I always bring my truck up there for my oil changes. They are very courteous and quick. I don’t ever make an appointment and they always get me in and out!!!
The manager is awsome and so helpful! I would recommend the Camdenton store for tires and service!!!
Evidentiary Summary And Procedural History
At the outset of the evidentiary hearing before the ALJ, counsel for the parties confirmed “that the issues to be resolved … are the occurrence of an accident, and the causation of the injuries alleged.”
Claimant testified that he worked for Employer fixing tires, performing vehicle alignments and oil changes, and doing “eneral mechanic work ” Fixing tires sometimes required using an adhesive, and multiple techniques were used to dry the adhesive, including simply waiting or “light it on fire make it very sticky and tacky” When this was done, the glue can was “put back in a cabinet away from where” the applied glue was being dried. Claimant had seen a similar technique used at another tire shop, and he had used such a technique at Employer’s shop. He sometimes used his own lighter, and he sometimes used a lighter from Employer’s shop.
Another employee, Kyle Uchtmann, testified that mechanics were not supposed to use a lighter on tire glue, but he had seen it being used in that way at a tire shop. The manager of Employer’s shop, Benjamin Pruitt, had witnessed employees “using a lighter during the tire patching process” There was testimony from these employees and Claimant that other flammable tasks were sometimes performed in connection with the repairs made in the shop.

What is most important to you when you’re comparing tires? Some drivers look for tires that prioritize a comfortable and quiet ride. Other drivers put fuel efficiency at the top of their preference list. Still, others look for tires that offer max traction when off-roading.
Whatever traits you care about most, you’ll find a Bridgestone tire that gives you what you want. Take Turanza QuietTrack tires. These touring tires helps absorb road noise to help deliver a quiet, easy ride. Similarly, Ecopia tires offer a comfortable ride, but they’re engineered to have low rolling resistance, which helps make most vehicles more fuel-efficient.DriveGuard tires help fight the frustration that comes with a flat tire. When you equip your crossover, sedan, minivan, or wagon with DriveGuard tires, you can drive up to 50 miles at speeds of up to 50 MPH after a flat.** Sports car drivers, however, gravitate to Bridgestone Potenza tires. They’re built for impressive control, response, and cornering.
There’s a Bridgestone tire for every type of driver, including drivers who take the challenging path.Dueler light truck/SUV tires are all-season tires that offer year-round traction and long-lasting treadwear on all terrains, whether it’s rugged roads or a bumpy city side street. When the seasons change, Bridgestone is still there for you. The Bridgestone snow tire, Blizzak, helps you conquer cold-weather driving with a special tread pattern and rubber that grip snow and ice.
Applicable Principles Of Review And Governing Law
A reviewing court may modify, reverse, remand for rehearing, or set aside a workers’ compensation award upon a finding that: the commission acted without or in excess of its powers the award was procured by fraud the commission’s factual findings do not support the award or there was not sufficient competent evidence in the record to warrant the making of the award. “Whether the award is supported by competent and substantial evidence is judged by examining the evidence in the context of the whole record. An award that is contrary to the overwhelming weight of the evidence is, in context, not supported by competent and substantial evidence.”
Greer v. SYSCO Food Services, 475 S.W.3d 655, 664 ). We review the Commission’s findings and award, including any findings of the ALJ affirmed and adopted by the Commission. Small v. Red Simpson, Inc., 484 S.W.3d 341, 344 . In doing so, we defer to the Commission’s factual findings, credibility determinations, and weighing of conflicting evidence. Greer, 475 S.W.3d at 664.
The determination of whether an incident was “a compensable accident under the Workers’ Compensation Law” and an injury arose out of the claimant’s employment are questions of law that we review de novo.Young v. Boone Elec. Coop., 462 S.W.3d 783, 786, 788 . We will not reverse the Commission’s decision if it “reaches the right result even if it gave a wrong or insufficient reason for its ruling.” Ellis v. Mo. State Treasurer, 302 S.W.3d 217, 220 .

Under the agreement, MFA purchased Big Os portion of BORE/MPC LLC. All 14 existing locations in Missouri and Arkansas will continue to operate as Big O Tires locations under the ownership of MFA.

Shocks And Struts 101
Whats the difference between shocks and struts?
- Shocks are slightly stiffer than a strut and able to handle more weight. Thats why shocks are more commonly found on larger vehicles like trucks and SUVs.
- Struts combine the springs and shocks into one unit, and unlike shocks, they are a structural part of the suspension system.
Every vehicle has a shock or strut on each wheel, and some vehicles use a combination of both, with struts on the front wheels and shocks on the back.
What are the symptoms of bad shocks and struts?
- Uneven tread wear
- Fluid leaking from your shocks or struts
- Dents or damage on your shock or strut casings
- Greater wear on front brakes than rear brakes
- Broken or worn shock or strut mounts
- Drifting, floating or swaying during turns
- Excessive bouncing after hitting a bump or dipping forward when applying the brakes
How long do shocks and struts last?
The mileage you get out of your shocks and struts will depend on your driving style and road conditions, but the general recommendation is to replace your struts every 50,000100,000 miles.

Well take a good look at everything and let you know if you need anything replaced or repaired.
Tie rods are the part of your steering system that connect the rack and pinion to the steering knuckle. Working together, these parts move the wheel left or right when you steer. Needless to say, tie rods are important. If you have a bad tie rod you may experience erratic and wandering steering. Not to worry. Our expert technicians can diagnose and correct any tie rod issues.
